베링거에서 나온 ULTRAVOICE UV1의 퀵 메뉴얼을 한번 봤습니다. :) 컴프레서에서 DRIVE 와 DENSITY가 도대체 뭔가 궁금하더군요 :) COMPRESSOR DRIVE – Adjusts the overall amount of gain reduction by controlling the signal level entering the compressor. When used with weak input levels, the Drive control can add considerable gain, while gain addition to hotter signals will be less noticeable. 드라이브를 많이 걸면, 게인 리덕션이 많아지고

COMPRESSOR DENSITY – Adjusts the release time of the compressor. Lower settings yield slower, smoother results ideal for vocals. Higher settings have a fast, tight release that works well for percussive sources. 덴시티는 릴리즈 타임을 조절하는거네요, 그런데 왜 이렇게 이름을 붙였는지 모르겠습니다. 아직 초보라 릴리즈 타임의 큰 원리는 모르겠지만, 여하튼 이 노브 하나로 보컬과 드럼 쪽까지 모두 커버 할 수 있다는 자신감이 보입니다. :) 릴리즈 타임을 늦게 해야 보컬에 어울리는거군요 :)

ENHANCER LF DETAIL – Simultaneously boosts frequencies at 80 Hz and cuts frequencies at 250 Hz.
로우 프리퀀시 인핸서는 더 재미있네요. :) 80을 올리고 250을 자르면 머디함은 사라지고 굉장히 꽉 차는 소리로 만들어주지 않을까요? :)
